The short version: PeriShift is a tracking tool, not a doctor. It does not diagnose you and it does not tell you what to do about your health. Logging is free. Some features need a subscription, which you can cancel any time through the store you bought it from.
PeriShift is published by Book Weaver Publishing LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), 160 W. Foothill Pkwy, Ste 105, Box 127, Corona, CA 92882. These terms are the agreement between you and us for your use of the PeriShift app and this website. By using either, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the app.
PeriShift is a personal tracking tool. It records what you choose to log, shows you patterns in your own entries, and can produce a summary you may share with a clinician.
PeriShift is not a medical device, and it is not a substitute for professional medical care. It does not diagnose any condition, it does not recommend or verify treatment or dosages, and nothing it shows you is medical advice. Charts, insights and reports describe what you logged. They are not clinical findings.
Always seek the advice of a qualified clinician about a medical condition or symptom. Never disregard professional advice or delay seeking it because of something you read in this app. If you think you may have a medical emergency, contact emergency services.
PeriShift is intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to use it, and old enough to enter a binding agreement where you live. The second part matters where the age of majority is higher than 18.
We give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use PeriShift on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, sell, rent, sublicense, reverse engineer or attempt to derive the source code of the app, except where law expressly permits it.
Logging, the calendar, cycle predictions and the education library are free and stay free.
Trends, Insights, the doctor report, medication and HRT logging, and connected devices require a subscription. New users get a 30 day free trial with full access.
What PeriShift stores, and the fact that it stays on your device, is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Because your data lives only on your device, it is yours to keep and yours to lose. We have no copy. If you delete the app, reset your data, or lose the device, we cannot recover anything for you. Please keep that in mind before relying on the app as your only record.
Please do not use PeriShift to break the law, interfere with the app or the service, attempt to gain access to systems or data that are not yours, or resell access to features.
The app, this site, and the written material in them, including the education articles, belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other rights. Your own logs and notes remain yours; we never receive them, so we claim nothing in them.
The education articles cite published sources. Those sources belong to their own authors and publishers and are linked for reference only.
Your use of the app is also subject to the rules of the store you installed it from.
For iOS, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Where these terms and that agreement conflict, that agreement governs to the extent of the conflict. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide support for it, and Apple and its subsidiaries are third party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
For Android, Google Play's terms apply to the purchase and to your relationship with Google.
PeriShift is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error free, or that predictions, patterns or reports will be accurate or suitable for any particular purpose. Cycle predictions in particular are estimates drawn from what you logged, and perimenopausal cycles are by nature irregular.
Some places do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost data, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
You can end them at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive, including sections 8, 10, 11 and 13, survive the end of these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law rules. The courts of California have jurisdiction, except where the law of your home country gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the effective date above and post the new version at this address. If a change is material, we will make it clear in the app. Continuing to use PeriShift after a change means you accept the revised terms.
