Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

PeriShift is a perimenopause symptom tracking app published by Book Weaver Publishing LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). You can reach us at support@peri-shift.com. Our mailing address is 160 W. Foothill Pkwy, Ste 105, Box 127, Corona, CA 92882.

2. What the app stores on your device

Everything you enter is saved in a database on your phone. That includes:

• Symptoms, severity and duration
• Mood, emotions and triggers
• Sleep hours and quality
• Stress levels
• Cycle and flow details
• Energy levels and body changes
• Exercise activity
• Medications, hormone therapy type and dose, and supplements
• Your notes
• Your first name, year of birth and last period date, if you choose to enter them

This information stays on your device. It is not sent to us, to a cloud service, or to anyone else.

3. What we do not receive

We never receive any of the following, because the app has no way to send it:

• Your health logs, notes, or anything else you enter
• Your name, email address, or any contact information
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Location data
• Usage analytics or behavioral data
• Crash reports

We do not sell your data, share it, or use it for advertising. We could not do any of those things, because we do not have it.

On Android, Google's billing library also sends limited technical diagnostics to Google. Section 4 explains exactly what they contain. They never include your logs or any health information.

4. The app's network activity

PeriShift contacts your app store's billing service, Google Play Billing on Android and the App Store on iOS. That is used to check whether your subscription or free trial is active.

What is exchanged is purchase information such as a purchase token and a product identifier. It never includes your name, your logs, or any health information.

Google Play Billing Library diagnostics (Android)

On Android, subscriptions are handled by the Google Play Billing Library, which is software made by Google and built into the app. That library also sends its own diagnostic logs to Google. The logs describe how the connection to Google Play Billing is working, for example an error saying the billing service is unavailable. Each log includes technical details about your phone and the app:

• The device model and manufacturer
• The Android version and build
• Your country and mobile carrier code
• The language and time zone set on your phone
• Whether you are on Wi-Fi or mobile data
• The PeriShift version

These logs do not include your name, your email address, your logs, or any health information. They go to Google, not to us, and Google handles them under the Google Privacy Policy. PeriShift does not control this reporting. The iPhone app uses Apple's own App Store payment system and does not include this library.

Every tracking feature in the app works with no internet connection at all.

5. No account required

PeriShift does not ask you to create an account, sign in, or provide identifying information. There is no registration, and there is nothing on our side to log in to.

6. No advertising or third-party analytics, and what "analytics" means here

PeriShift includes no advertising, no crash reporting, and no third-party analytics. On Android, Google's Play Billing Library sends its own diagnostic logs to Google, as described in section 4. Nothing in the app watches how you use it and reports it back to us. There are no trackers.

That word can mean two things, so to be plain about it: the app does analyze what you log. Trends, Insights and the doctor report are exactly that, and they are the reason the app exists. All of that math runs on your phone, using only your own data, and the result stays on your phone. What this section rules out is a company receiving information about you. It does not rule out the app doing the arithmetic you asked it to do.

7. PDF export

The doctor report is generated on your device from data already stored there. The file is created on your phone and goes only where you send it, using the sharing method you pick. We never receive it, store it, or process it.

8. Data deletion

Because everything is stored on your device, you control all of it:

• Settings, then Data, then Reset All Data deletes every log
• Clearing app data through your device settings has the same effect
• Uninstalling the app removes everything permanently

We hold no copy of your data, so there is nothing for you to request from us and nothing for us to restore once you delete it.

9. Children's privacy

PeriShift is intended for adults going through perimenopause. It is rated 16+ and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16, and PeriShift does not ask anyone for personal information.

10. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date above and post the revised version at this address. Please review this page from time to time. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the revised policy.
